Today I went to Inglot’s student night which coincided with the launch of Jlo’s makeup line. They had a senior makeup artist there doing a makeup demo using Jlo’s new line.
I was surprised that there was only 3 of us in attendance. Which was good as it was like having our own mini Masterclass all to ourselves.
I didn’t take any notes but I’ll attempt to share with you the makeup process.
Apply silicone primer
Apply inglot HD foundation
Apply concealer under eyes
Apply HD powder
Apply concealer with enduroline on the eyelids?? Need to check this
Apply base shade 1
Apply shade 2 on corners and blend and build up slowly but keep blending
Do a centre cut crease with concealer.
Apply eyeshadow 3 to blend the transition line
Apply eyeshadow 4
Apply shimmer with enduroline to centre
Use gold metallic eye colour to emphasise cut crease and blend out the edges.
Apply shadow liner on the lower eye- depending on size of eye can select 2-3 colours.
Eye look is called a halo eye
Apply mascara
Contour
Blush
Highlighter
The artist was lovely and gave us lots of tips. The finished makeup looked gorgeous and was definitely wearable.
I could have easily gone crazy and happily bought everything but I managed to keep calm and only buy a few items. I purchased the jlo shimmer and 2x blushes.
I do have an inglot Wishlist but more purchases will need to wait until I get more clients. My kit is already pretty complete so there’s no necessity for me to build it even more.
I hope this was helpful. I’m going to try this look out this weekend but using different products.
Cheers,
Grace
